Celestino Soddu, professor of Architectural Design at Politecnico di Milano University (Italy), is also the chairman of the Generative Art annual international conference. Basically, this approach aims to generate original architectural design from formal grammars (in the tradition of Stiny's Shape Grammars) and genetic algorithms.
